Rafting is a very popular Stag or Hen group activity with guaranteed fun for all involved. Check in at Rock Farm, Slane, in the heart of Ireland's Ancient East, and get changed into gear, ready to be shuttled to the get on point of the trip, where your adventure begins! Your rafting activity lasts approximately 3 hours from start to finish and is suitable for ages 11+. The rafts take up to 7 people each, with all equipment provided and no experience necessary.

The Route
We will shuttle you from Rock Farm to the get-on point at Stackallen (approximately . 10 minutes away). With the help of your guide, you will paddle downstream, navigating over six weirs and numerous rapids, through the beautiful Boyne Valley, steeped in history and emersed in nature. You will finish at Slane Bridge, shortly after passing by the breathtaking back drop of the infamous Slane Castle, one of the most picturesque and historic buildings in Ireland.
What you'll see
The River Boyne has a rich historical, archaeological, and mythical heritage, and our river guides will be happy to share some of its legends with you throughout your trip. There is an abundance of flora, fauna, and local wildlife to be seen along the route. Herons, kingfishers, mallards, swallows, otters, and all types of fish are regularly spotted from onboard our rafts.
