Our Rafts can cater for up to 7 people in each, where each member of the team have to work together to navigate the weirs, paddle as a group and work on a common goal. Rafting is a natural team building activity as everyone must contribute equally and it is a great means for colleagues to get to know each other or reconnect .

The Route
We will shuttle you from Rock Farm to the get on point at Stackallen (approx. 10 minutes away) With the help of your guide, you will paddle downstream, navigating over six weirs and numerous rapids, through the beautiful Boyne Valley, steeped in history and emersed in nature. You will finish at Slane Bridge, shortly after passing by the breathtaking back drop of the infamous Slane Castle, one of the most picturesque and historic buildings in Ireland. .
What you’ll see
The River Boyne has a rich historical, archaeological and mythical heritage and our river guides will be happy to share some of its legends with you throughout your trip. There is an abundance of flora, fauna and local wildlife to be seen along the route. Herons, kingfishers, mallards, swallows, otters and all types of fish are regularly spotted from onboard our rafts.
What should I bring?
We have everything you need to get on the water in comfort and safety. All you need is swimwear for under your wetsuit, old runners you don’t mind getting wet and a towel to dry off afterwards. You are very welcome to wear your own wetsuit if you prefer.
