Our Kayaking experience is the perfect way to get out on the water with family and friends and soak up the great outdoors together! Enjoy a laid-back paddle upstream through calm, scenic waters before the excitement kicks in. Finish with a splash as you take on the Palmerstown Weir – the perfect mix of chill and thrill for a fun-filled adventure.

What to bring

  • Towel
  • Spare footwear as your feet will get wet ( old runners are perfect) Open toe shoes are not permitted.

    We operate in all weather conditions except when there are extreme weather warnings and it is deemed unsafe to proceed

What you'll see

There is an abundance of flora, fauna and local wildlife to be seen along the route. Herons, Kingfishers, Swans, dragonflies, Otters and all types of fish are regularly spotted from onboard our rafts. It’s not all wildlife however, the Liffey Valley is steeped in history. During your trip you will come across Shackleton’s Mills, The Hermitage Estate, Kings Hospital and the Silver Bridge.

Age restrictions

The minimum age for active participants is 11 years old. Active participants are considered to be those who are strong enough to help propel the raft down the river. Younger kids can take part in our trips as non-paddling participants. Please get in touch for further details.
